
Mumbai International Cult Film Festival (MICFF INDIA) is a non profit initiative started in 2020 by National School Of Drama alumna Sunita Rajwar - to promote contemporary and independent cinema and provides both entertaining and educational opportunities to the Cinema lovers and Filmmakers across India.
This Year total 500 Films from 16 Countries (India, Iran, United States, France, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Afganistan, China, Denmark, Egypt, Fiji, Jersey, South Africa & United Arab Emirates, Romania, Russian Federation, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Poland, Nepal, Italy, Greenland, Finland, Faroe Island, China, Bulgeria Austria) were Submitted and after the rigorous selection process the Jury shortlisted 40 films for MICFF 2025 International Competition.
Every year, handpicked films from across genres are screened at the festival, where each film is carefully selected based on artistic merit, cultural diversity, and relevance to contemporary issues. Amongst the 500 films we have shortlisted 30 short films for the screening at the 5th MICFF India Awards, which will take place on March 15th at the PVR Maison, Jio World Drive, BKC, Mumbai, from 11:00 am.
