Bring your little ones to an inspiring showcase by students of the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation (MMMF) celebrating the beauty, discipline, and joy of western classical music.
Designed for kids aged 7+, 'Music for Life' offers children and families an opportunity to experience western classical music in an engaging and accessible setting. Through ensemble performances and live musicianship, young performers from MMMF bring a presentation shaped by collaboration, creativity, and musical learning from an early age.
Established in 1995, MMMF is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting western classical traditions through concerts, education, and training opportunities for young learners. Founded in honour of the late Mehli Mehta – renowned violinist, conductor, and founder of the Bombay String Quartet and Bombay Symphony Orchestra – the Foundation has played an important role in nurturing generations of musicians and building greater appreciation for the art form in Mumbai.
Supported by the continued involvement of Zubin Mehta, MMMF has also presented internationally acclaimed orchestras, soloists, ensembles, and the annual chamber music festival Sangat in Mumbai.
