Day of The Dead: A Musical Celebration
Nat y amigos is a music ensemble directed by Nathalie Ramirez, that will be presenting Mexican and Latin American folk music in jazz arrangements, featuring more than seven musicians from India, Mexico and Italy. This ensemble preserves the rhythms and melodies characteristic of different regions of Latin America while presenting some traditional instruments like Jarana, Quijada, Cajon, Pandero, among others. The vocal lines in Spanish also add to the uniqueness of this ensemble that; for this special occasion they will perform mostly Mexican songs themed on the Day of the Dead, a Mexican celebration to remember the ones that are not with us anymore but that come and visit once a year to celebrate and enjoy the best things in life: food and music!
