NCPA's Nakshatra Dance Festival is back with some of the finest choreographers of recent times.
An incredibly famed Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, instructor and writer, Leela Samson will be performing Past Forward along with her troupe Spanda. The performance is an inward journey of the soul, experienced through the body of the individual and the group collective. Samson, an ex-chairperson of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, will showcase from the external to the internal exploring one's search for the light and the truth. This search is every man's constant endeavor and is personified in the ego of the 'individual' as much as it is in the ego of the 'many'.
