There are stories to be told of myth and legend, of the spiritual and the sensual, both ancient and fresh ones. They have been told a million times, by kohl-eyed dancers dancing in temples, in towns and villages, at dawn and at dusk. The world is different now. We dance to different tunes, but we still dance from the heart. The Udupa Foundation will bring to you both ancient dance forms and contemporary ones, with fresh energy in the irresistible synergy of dance, lore, and music.
In the third edition of Nrityakatha, we are honored to feature eminent artists Vidushi Alarmel Valli and Bijayini Satpathy with Pritvi Nayak, who will be presenting Kavya Tarangini and Raga Chitra respectively.
