The Times of India has rated Sorabh Pant among India's top 10 stand-up comedians. Sorabh was a writer on the show News On The Loose, anchored by Vir Das on CNBC-TV18 in 2008. What helped him cement his place as a stand-up artist were his opening acts for Vir Dass show Walking On Broken Das later that year. His first solo performance was called Pant on Fire which came out in November 2009. 2011 saw the release of his first novel titled Wednesday Soul. Hes also the founder of Indias busiest comedy company,He is also the first comedian featured on NDTV, Rising stars of Comedy. Amit hosted the new year show on Doordarshan and also led the spread the cheer campaign for Comedy Central in Delhi.
