Quest: A Journey Of Untold Stories
A groundbreaking dance production conceptualised by Smt. Jayashree Acharya. Quest blends Indian classical and contemporary dance to illuminate the often-overlooked challenges faced by women.
Employing a non-linear style for storytelling, "Quest" weaves together the marginalised stories of three extraordinary women: a cancer survivor, an acid attack survivor, and a survivor of human trafficking. This innovative narrative approach allows the audience to experience the resilience and strength of these women in a profoundly immersive way. "Quest" is more than just a performance; it’s a call to action for social change and awareness. Maya Angelou once said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." This production aims to give voice to these untold stories, empowering women to reclaim their narratives. By taking audiences on an emotional journey through a tapestry of these women’s experiences, "Quest" hopes to foster empathy, understanding, and solidarity.
