About The Event

GRACE Foundation presents the third edition of “Raagdari GENNXT परंपरा की नयी सोच”. The event will be held in the intimate, acoustic setting of the iconic Prithvi Theatre and is curated and managed by Pancham Nishad, the renowned brand in the field of Indian Classical Music Events.
There will be 4 sessions of Vocal & Instrumental performances through the day with a well-designed repertoire to give you a wholesome experience of the myriad and vibrant Raags of Indian Classical Music.
Session 1: 7:30 AM featuring Sanika Kulkarni (Vocal) | Vinay Ramdasan (Vocal)

Sanika Kulkarni (Vocal)
Sanika represents the third generation in music from her family. Sanika received her initial training from her Father-Guru Pandit Rajan Kulkarni. and was also fortunate to receive taleem from doyen of Gwalior gharana Vidushi Dr Veena Sahasrabuddhe for 10 years. Sanika started classical training from age of 5 & completed her Visharad at the age of 17. Sanika has taken initial training from her father Sarod Maestro Rajan Kulkarni & mother who is also a singer. Her rigorous training has enabled her to learn the finer techniques and nuances in Gwalior gayaki – swar lagaav, presentation of bandishes, raag vistaar, meend, gamak, and an expression of Raga.

Vinay Ramdasan (Vocal)
Vinay hails from a musical family of North Kerala, His initial lessons in music started at the age of 5 at Gandharva Mahavidyalay. Blessed with a very soulful and emotive voice, Vinay aspires to learn and excel at the intricacies of Indian Music. With the basic initiation into music by his uncle Pandit Ramesh Narayan (Disciple of Padmavibhushan Sangeet Marthand Pandit Jasraj), Vinay has taken guidance and tutelage from Shri. Hemang Mehta & Smt. Rajini Shrotri and he is now taking lessons of music from Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar. He has composed music for many short films, television commercials and dance ballets. He has been awarded the highly reputed SwarodayPuraskar by the D.V. Paluskar Pratishthan, Pune.
