About The Event

GRACE Foundation presents the third edition of “Raagdari GENNXT परंपरा की नयी सोच”. The event will be held in the intimate, acoustic setting of the iconic Prithvi Theatre and is curated and managed by Pancham Nishad, the renowned brand in the field of Indian Classical Music Events.
There will be 4 sessions of Vocal & Instrumental performances through the day with a well-designed repertoire to give you a wholesome experience of the myriad and vibrant Raags of Indian Classical Music.

Session 2: 11:15 AM featuring Kedar Kelkar (Vocal) | Prajakta Marathe (Vocal)

Kedar Kelkar (Vocal)
Gifted with a tuneful voice, Kedar after his initial training under Smt Nanda Gokhle, and later under the guidance of Shri Meghnath Kolhapure & Shri Ravindra Ghangurde respectively. He completed Natyasangeet Diploma course from “Vidyadhar Gokhale Sangeet Natya Pratisthan”, Pune, under the guidance of Pandit Ramdas Kamat, Smt Madhuwati Dandekar, Shrikant Dadarkar, Shubhada Dadarkar and Shri Dnynesh Pendharkar. A recipient of some awards from prominent institutions like Sri Shanmukhananda Fine Arts & Sangeetha Sabha, and Late Ushatai Mujumdar Smruti Award, at present, he is honing his skills further under the tutelage of Pandit Suhas Vyas, the veteran vocalist of Gwailor and Agra Gharana. He has participated in some major youth festivals in Maharashtra.

Prajakta Marathe (Vocal)
Prajakta Marathe is the granddaughter of legendary vocalist Pandit Ram Marathe who was known to have mastered Indian Classical Music as well as the light forms of Music including Marathi Natyasangeet. She has received her training from her father Shri Sanjay Marathe since a very young age. Prajakta too like her grandfather is known within the music groups as a performer for the Marathi Natya Sangeet. She has played the lead role in plays including “Mrigranjani” which was about the life of Baiju Bawra.
