Traversing all eight prahars in a single evening, the program explores the enduring relationship between Indian classical music and Hindi film music, revealing how generations of legendary composers transformed classical inspiration into unforgettable songs. Through a blend of classical renderings and iconic film melodies, audiences are invited to experience the unique ras and emotional character of each Prahar while gaining deeper insight into the musical traditions that continue to shape Indian popular culture. A live ensemble of accomplished musicians accompanies her.
