About The Event
Raqs-e-Mehfill is the 7th anniversary show of Nrityakosh. Established in 2017, Nrityakosh is one of the leading belly dance educational & performance institutes in India. In our 7th anniversary show, we are proud to bring some of our selected repertoire work to our audience in Bengaluru. This show includes an original Nrityakosh Company production, some selected choreographies from middle eastern folk & classical dances & Indian fusion belly dance compositions. The show is choreographed by Debapriya Das, director & founder of Nrityakosh.
`Raqs-e-Mehfill` will witness 40 dancers coming together to create an evening of belly dancing marvel for our audience. There are two parts to the show, part 1 is an original Nrityakosh Company Production, this is a 50 minute recital. Part 2 has selected repertoire choreographies Middle Eastern folk dances, Egyptian Classical dance format & Indian Fusion Belly Dance Format, part 2 has a run time of 60 minutes. There will be a 20 minute break between part 1 & part 2.
