Lost The Plot in association with WeWork Pune and Broken Tripod Films introduces Reel Tiny Films – a night dedicated to showcasing the best of Indian and International short films. Kicking off the series is the First Flight Tour - a presentation of four 2D animated short films by Kolkata based studio, Ghost Animation. A collective of animators, artists and filmmakers from all over India, Ghost Animation specializes in telling unique stories from home and beyond.
About The Films:
Wade: A group of global warming refugees has a run-in with an ambush of tigers in the streets of post-apocalyptic Kolkata. Wade depicts a climate change nightmare, a vision for where our current path could lead us.
Beyond Borders: An animated documentary following the experiences of Dr. Alan Pereira as he recounts his experiences with Doctors Without Borders, dealing with the extreme demands of working in territories with on-going humanitarian crises.
Mother: A mother and her son find themselves pushed to ethical and moral extremes when they stumble upon something sinister during a regular day of foraging.
Watchmaker: At Time's End: A failed marriage. A watchmaker. Meteorites. Time is uncomfortably relative in this Kerala town, and our hero struggles to make the perfect watch to keep up with the times.
The screenings will be followed by a discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers. The event will be hosted at the brand new WeWork Futura in Magarpatta Pune - a great opportunity for audiences to get a sneak peek into the vibrant, collaborative co-working culture that defines WeWork across the world.
