In a multicultural neighbourhood, a security guard extended a helping hand to a financially struggling muslim woman. He facilitated her employment as domestic help in a Hindu household, under the alias “Pooja.” Pooja’s new workplace was the home of a young married couple who found themselves unexpectedly six months pregnant. As time went by, a genuine bond formed between the mistress and Pooja. They trusted each other implicitly and often shared their personal pregnancy experiences, forging a deep connection. Pooja cherished her work there, and this strong bond would ultimately lead to a significant misunderstanding.
