About The Event
Stand Up for STREE is a special stand-up comedy fundraiser featuring Sonu Venugopal, created to support and celebrate women's economic empowerment. The proceeds from this event will directly contribute to the STREE program, an annual initiative dedicated to enabling women to become financially independent and equal contributors to their families.
Now in its 5th year, STREE aims to empower 100 women each year by providing them with the support, resources, skills, and opportunities needed to build sustainable livelihoods and strengthen their financial contribution to their households. The program goes beyond financial assistance, seeking to create lasting change by helping women gain confidence, independence, and the ability to shape a more secure future for themselves and their families.
Through Stand Up for STREE, we bring together entertainment and purpose, turning an evening of laughter into an opportunity to create meaningful social impact. Every ticket and contribution helps support the journey of a woman towards financial empowerment.
