About The Event
The evening would witness the congregation of more than 100 disciples of Smt Mitra, some of whom have carved a niche for themselves in the field of Rabindrasangeet in the years bygone.
The students of Purabi would be staging "Tasher Desh" one of the signature productions of Suchitra Mitra. Eminent singers include Mandira Mukhopadhyay,Dr Surajit Ray, Priyam Mukhopadhyay, and Arnabneil Mukherjee.
Narration by Satinath Mukherjee. Dance to be presented under the direction of the legendary exponent of Rabindra Nritya, Dr Subhashis Bhattacharyya, and Susmita Bhattacharya. The soundscape for the entire event is curated by Subrata Mukherjee (Babu).
Eminent music and dance institutions would also present a script on Swadesh, celebrating the timeless musical style rendered by Suchitra Mitra.
