About the Facilitator: Masterchef Anju
Anju has been running the cafe at Ranga Shankara for the past 18 years. She has conducted numerous workshops for kids during the summer and is known for her commitment to serving healthy and homely food, even in the form of junk food.
One of her popular fried snacks is Sabudana Vada, which is loved by all, including a 2-year-old who adorably calls it "Bubble Vada".
About the Workshop
On the first day, the children will get to watch a cow being milked, learn how to boil milk, and make paneer using simple techniques such as sprouting.
The second day will focus on creating a variety of sandwiches with different spreads using paneer and sprouts, as well as mango milkshake and mango paneer dessert (no-cook).
Finally, on day three, the children will learn how to make a one-pot meal using survival techniques.
