About The Event
Every culture tells its story differently. Music has long been one of Gujarat's most cherished cultural inheritances, with its stories expressed through language, poetry, and artistic traditions. They speak of faith and festivity, love and longing, resilience and joy, and continue to evolve while remaining deeply connected to their roots. The Gujarati Project – Aapna Geeto, Aapni Vaato is a celebration of this legacy, inviting audiences to reconnect with the spirit of Gujarat.
Conceived and directed by acclaimed vocalist Maharshi Pandya, one of Gujarat's leading voices of the new generation and the Runner-up of Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2025, and narrated by legendary columnist and storyteller Jay Vasavada, this unique concert is brought to life by an ensemble of some of the industry's finest musicians. Journey through timeless Prabhatiyas, devotional Bhajans, soulful Ghazals, stirring Qawwalis, evergreen Sugam Sangeet, vibrant Garba, cherished folk melodies and contemporary favourites, all interwoven with stories, memories and cultural anecdotes that reimagine Gujarat's artistic legacy for today’s audiences while honouring the traditions that continue to inspire it.
Join us for an unforgettable evening where the grandeur of the Royal Opera House meets the soul of Gujarat.
