Asha Bhosle (1933–2026) was an iconic and highly versatile Indian playback singer whose career spanned over eight decades. With a Guinness World Record for the most recorded artist in music history, she sang over 12,000 songs in 20+ languages, redefining Indian film music across multiple generations.
