Gatha (Flora) Akashkamini is a 21-year-old recent graduate, with a wide platter of interests. She is a singer/songwriter and, in free time, prefers reading novels, writing poetry and experimenting with cooking. Trained in Indian classical music, she now performs modern and traditional music, and has an impressive repertoire to her credit. Gatha takes great pride in her mountain heritage and is spontaneous and straightforward. In the colourful world through her eyes, Gatha tries to emanate what's within – delicate, fragrant and intricate like a flower (flora) – and, like John Lennon, dreams of positive change around her.
Sheil Sagar is a 19-year-old musician with a taste for Indie folk, rock and pop. He entered the world of singing in the hopes of finding an outlet for interspersing emotions and thoughts, and has recently begun writing and sharing original music. As a freshman at Delhi University and an active member of the Hansraj music society, you can find him playing the piano or the saxophone. Join him for an evening of old songs with a new kick and a few fresh melodies.
