About The Event
Piya is a contemporary western singer and songwriter who holds a Licentiate Diploma in Contemporary Vocals Performance from Rockschool London. She started learning Indian Classical vocals at a tender age of 8 and gradually developed an inclination towards western vocals. Since then, she has headed one of the best choirs in Delhi University and has been a part of several Delhi-based projects. From pop, soul and blues to acoustic jazz, Piya enthralls her audience as a talented performer across multiple genres.
A versatile pianist, Archit has formally trained in both Contemporary and Western Classical music. He is currently a part of The Evening Jammers and is a very sought-after sessions musician. He has been associated with unique events such as Slam Poetry and live music accompaniment for plays based out of New Delhi’s Theatre circuit. More inclined towards Contemporary Jazz Fusion and Funk, his passion for teaching also sees him take out time to be a faculty member at the Performers Collective School.
