About The Event
This project starts in 2017, as the result of the friendship and a consistent work of its two members on many bands of different origins and styles. Their proposal includes the interpretation of South American Traditional Music, compositions of close friends, and mainly their own compositions, along with a special interest in improvisation and research about world music.
This duet, formed by Tomás Carrasco and Moa Edmunds, both professional musicians, is based in Valparaíso, Chile. Tomás plays many different kinds of flutes from all over the world (Silver Flute, Quena, Bulgarian Kaval, Turkish ney, ocarina, Indian Bansuri) and Moa plays the acoustic guitar, in a mixed way between the classical western approach, and the traditional and popular one.
