About The Event
Yair Amster, is an Israeli contemporary, world music and Jazz drummer and composer.
In addition, Yair is a graduate of the renowned Berklee Global Jazz Institute and of The Music Production & Engineering Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
In the past years, Yair participated and performed in a variety of concerts, projects and festivals around the world such as the Toronto Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Red Sea Jazz Festival, The Berklee Indian Ensemble, Rostov on Don Jazz Festival, Safed Klezmer Festival and The Tel Aviv Jazz Orchestra to name only a few.
Yair is also a Jazz scholarship winner of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation 2012-2016, as well as the Berklee Percussion Department Chair Award 2017 and the Drummer of Israel Competition.
Accompanying him would be Rythem Bansal on keys & Shashank Das on bass.
