Based on the 8 Prahars (time spans) of the day, this Indian Classical Music concert features morning ragas of the 2nd Prahar performed by various artistes.
FAROOQUE LATIF KHAN - SARANGI
Farooque Latif Khan is a distinguished fifth-generation Sarangi maestro of the renowned Gohad (Gwalior) gharana, who has trained under his father, the legendary Ustad Abdul Latif Khan. A Top Grade Artist of All India Radio, he is celebrated for his refined technique, emotional depth and mastery of both solo and accompaniment performance. He has performed with stalwarts such as Rashid Khan, Shubha Mudgal, Kaushiki Chakraborty, collaborated with A. R. Rahman and contributed to film scores including Gadar 2. A regular performer at prestigious festivals across India, he continues to elevate the Sarangi through classical, fusion, and global concert platforms.
