When the world tells women to stay quiet, UNMUTE is a space to speak.
A space where fear can become a poem. Where anger can become a story.
Where questions don't need permission. And where every woman gets to say what she feels, unapologetically. Across India, women and girls are stepping out, raising their voices and asking a simple question:
Why should freedom come with conditions?
Why should safety mean restrictions?
And why should women have to learn how to stay safe, instead of society learning how to keep them safe?
UNMUTE is our answer, not with silence, but with expression.
This is a women-only open mic by KavyManch, created as a safe and welcoming space for women to share their poems, stories, music, experiences, questions, anger, dreams and everything they have been carrying within.
Because sometimes, speaking is an act of courage. Sometimes, being heard is an act of resistance. And sometimes, the first step towards change is simply refusing to stay silent.
Come with your story. Come with your truth. Come as you are.
