About The Event
Vartmaan is a unique concert series conceived by Shri Shashi Vyas in 2002, inspired by the belief that the present is shaped by the legacy of the past and the promise of the future. Created to identify, encourage, and present outstanding young talent in Hindustani classical music, the series has served as a prestigious platform for emerging artistes at a defining stage of their musical journey.
Over the years, Vartamaan has showcased several musicians who have gone on to become leading exponents of Indian classical music. As Pancham Nishad marks 30 years of dedicated service to the performing arts, Vartamaan returns in 2026 with renewed purpose, featuring four promising young artistes: Tejaswini Vernekar, Siddhartha Belmannu, Mugdha Vaishampayan, and Aniruddh Aithal. The series continues to uphold Shashi Vyas' enduring vision of nurturing excellence and ensuring the vibrant future of Hindustani classical music.
The event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 17th October 2026, and Sunday, 18th October 2026, at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruh, Kothrud, Pune.
