Vasantotsav is a tribute to Acharya Jialal Vasant Ji, the founder of one of the most reputed music schools in Mumbai, Acharya Jialal Vasant Sangeet Niketan (AJIVASAN).
Every year, the Institute Honour’s eminent artist with the Uttam Vag-geyakar Jialal Vasant Award comprises of INR 1,00,000/- and a citation on a brick of silver weighing 1.25 kilos.
This year`s Uttam Vag-geykar Jialal Vasant Award is being presented to Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar Ji which will be followed by a performance by Shri Mahesh Kale Ji
