Vivarta by Kadamb Performing Unit

Premiering at the NCPA, the group production Vivarta has been choreographed by the legendary Kathak exponent, Padma Bhushan Kumudini Lakhia. The production, based on the poem 'Ni-ra- tata-dhang,'a composition by Maharaj Bindadin, the Adiguru of Kathak dance, narrates the actual bols of the Kathak vocabulary and highlights the movement patterns of the classical technique of Kathak dance.
