Wet On Wet Oil Painting Workshop
The Wet On Wet technique in oil painting also known as ‘alla prima’ is an innovative technique and is practised on a very large scale around the world. In this technique, a new layer of oil paint is applied to the first layer of the still wet layer, rather than waiting for it to dry off. In this way, the whole painting can be completed in a whole less time.

1. 8 x 10 canvas ( or whichever is available),
2. Brushes 34 round and flat,
3. Oil paints colors ( black & white, red, yellow, blue, brown, green - whichever color is available)
4. Painting knife
5. Linseed oil( medium),
6. Turpentine oil to clean brushes,
7. Rag
8. Apron
