Navratri Celebration in Mumbai
Navratri Garba & Dandiya Nights 2026 in Mumbai
Mumbai's Navratri runs from 11 to 20 October this year, and BookMyShow already has plenty of ticketed Garba and Dandiya nights live for the season. Prices range from ₹199 at the low end to ₹2,000-plus for the headline concert. All five are bookable right now.
How Many Days Does Navratri Have in 2026?
Nine nights, nine forms of Goddess Durga - that's the basic structure of Navratri. This year's Sharad Navratri falls Sunday 11 October through Monday 19 October, with Dussehra (Vijayadashami) landing on the 20th. The festival opens with Ghatasthapana on the morning of the 11th. If you're planning around a weekend, there are only two inside that window - 11th & 12th October and 17th –18th October - and those are when Mumbai's Garba floors fill up fastest.
Garba, Dandiya Raas, and the Roots of the Navratri Festival
Garba came out of Gujarat originally: dancers move in a circle around a lamp or an image of the goddess, and Mumbai's Gujarati community - plus plenty of others by now - has kept that tradition alive across the city. Dandiya Raas is the stick version, danced in pairs with decorated wooden sticks to the same rhythmic beat. People here use "Gujarati Dandiya" and "Garba Raas" almost interchangeably, even though technically one is footwork-led and the other is stick-led. Either way, it's the centrepiece of the nine nights, whether that's a stadium floor, a mall rooftop, or a hotel ballroom.
Finding Garba and Dandiya Night Near You in Mumbai
That's just the ticketed, large-scale side of things, though. Mumbai's western suburbs — Borivali, Kandivali, Malad, Andheri — carry the city's deepest Navratri roots, largely down to how many Gujarati families settled there over the decades. Kandivali and Andheri West both run their own society-level Garba circles every year, and on the eastern side, Ghatkopar and Matunga have been doing much the same for just as long. Vile Parle and Mulund fit the same pattern. None of that is bookable through this page - for an actual ticket, it's the five events above, in Borivali, Worli, BKC, Malad, and Navi Mumbai.
Navratri Passes, Prices, and Booking on BookMyShow
Pass types vary by organiser, but across these five events you'll find single-night, couple, group, and season options. Garba Dhoom is the cheapest entry point at ₹199; Navratri Utsav 2026 with Falguni Pathak tops the list at ₹2,000 and up. Worth doing the math on a season pass before dismissing it as pricey - it usually works out cheaper per night than five single tickets bought separately. None of these are free, for the record; ₹199 is the floor. And if you searched "BookMyShow Navratri," "BookMyShow Garba pass," or "BookMyShow Dandiya night" to land here, this is the page you want.
