About the movie
Chantabbai is a 1986 Telugu movie. The story revolves around a small-time detective. He works for a detective agency and the story gains pace when his ladylove is falsely accused of a murder, and the detective's investigations reveal that it's his boss who is the real murderer. He is soon given the case of a doctor's long-lost brother, who was born out of a wedlock. The investigation of this case gives rise to various twists in the story.
