About the movie
Set against the backdrop of the 1992 Rodney King trials and the racial tensions that it engendered, Kings tells the story of single mother Millie and her foster children. As the civil unrest heightens and chaos takes over the streets, Millie allies with her oddball neighbour Obie in order to protect her family from getting caught in the violent crossfire.
