About the movie
Pinjar is an adaptation of Amrita Pritam’s novel with the same name. The story captures moments of the pre independence times and revolves around a Hindu girl who gets kidnapped by a group of Muslim people in order to take revenge. The story then showcases the humiliation and troubles faced by the girl.
