About the movie
Seven Years in Tibet is a story of an Austrian mountaineer named Heinrich Harrer. During the World War II, he makes a journey to the Himalayas to climb Mt. Everest. He is soon captured and finds himself in prison. He then escapes with the help another prisoner, and meets the Dalai Lama, who is just 14-years-old. The movie shows how Harrer changes his life under the influence of the Dalai Lama.
