Abbas and Mustan Burmawalla are brothers known for directing Bollywood films in the thriller and action genres. They are originally from Surat, Gujarat. They both started their careers with Gujarati films. They joined Sultan Ahmed as assistant director who was directing the movie Ganga Ki Saugandh (1978). Abbas-Mustan directed their films in 1985 named Sajan Tara Sambharana a gujarati movie. The first Hindi film they did was Agneekaal in 1990. They have directed 14 Hindi movies. They also started their own production house called Burmawalla Partners. The duo are renowned for taking inspiration from Hollywood films and adding glamour to it. Also, in most of their films, name of the lead actor is Raj and lead actress is Priya. The other notable works include Race 2 (2013), Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu (2015), Machine (2017).
