The film also won critical acclaim for Aadi and he immediately came to be noted as one of the most talented young stars; it also won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut - South. His other notable films include Lovely (2012), Galipatam (2014), Garam (2016) and Shamantakamani (2017), a Telugu drama directed by Sriram Aditya.
