Having started his acting career with the 2014 short film titled 5 Minutes, Ashwin Kumar is an Indian actor known for his work in the South Indian film industries. He made his feature film debut with the 2016 Malayalam movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam, playing a supporting role, following which he was seen playing the role of an aspiring IPS officer in the Tamil movie Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru the same year.

In 2017, he played the role of David Luke in the Biju Menon, Neeraj Madhav, and Aju Varghese-starrer Malayalam comedy Lavakusha. His 2018 releases include the Malayalam movies Charminar and Ranam - Detroit Crossing.
