Early Life:Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an American actor and filmmaker. As a child artist, he worked in several musicals, television films and commercials. In the early 90`s he worked on shows like The Dark Shadow and 3rd Rock From The Sun. In 1994, he appeared in the Disney movie Angels in the Outfield, followed by 10 Things I Hate About You (1999). He juggled an acting career along with university studies but dropped out of college to focus solely on acting.
Career Highlights:His noteworthy films include Latter Days (2003), Mysterious Skin (2004) and Brick (2005). These films basically dealt with subjects ranging from sexual abuse to prostitution and homosexuality. His next role in
The Lookout (2007) won him a lot of praise. Joseph turned to direction with Sparks (2009), an adaptation of a short story by Elmore Leonard. In 2010, he directed another short film, Morgan and Destiny`s Eleventeenth Date: The Zeppelin Zoo. Joseph was seen in blockbuster films like
