Entering the Tamil film industry in 2011 with the Vijay starrer, Kaavalan, K.R.Gowri Shankar is an Indian film editor. The movie, directed by Siddique was a hit at the box office. In the Malayalam movie Ladies and Gentleman (2013), Gowri Shankar served as the editor, making his debut in the Malayalam film industry. Gowri Shankar reprised his role of editing in 2018 with Siddiques action-comedy, Bhaskar Oru Rascal. The movie is a remake of the Malayalam movie, Bhaskar the Rascal (2015) which was also directed by Siddique.
