Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar is an Indian actor, director, screen writer and lyricist who works in the Kannada film industry. He made his film debut in the movie Kadina Benki (1986) as a screenplay writer, which won the Karnataka State Award and National Film Award for Best Feature Film. He is also a renowned author of novels and short stories and is a columnist in Kannada weekly Hai Bangalore. His film Maathaad Maathaadu Mallige (2007) won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Film and was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival. His 2020 release includes India Vs England, directed by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar.
