An English film producer and manager, Peter Safran has been associated with a wide array of popular films in his career. A Princeton University graduate, Safran started his career as a manager at Gold-Miller Co in 1998. He subsequently went on to become the President at Brillstein-Grey Management in 2003, where he represented several stars like Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt, Nicholas Cage and Courteney Cox. However, he quit Brillstein-Grey Management in 2006 to set up The Safran Company. He turned producer with the spoof Disaster Movie in 2006, after which he became a part of several parody films like Meet The Spartans (2008), Vampires Suck (2010), The Starving Games (2013), and Superfast! (2015).

Safran has been a part of the universe of The Conjuring (2013) right from the very beginning and produced The Conjuring 2 (2016), Annabelle: Creation (2017), and is now part of the crew for the spin-off film The Nun (2018). As of 2019, Peter Safran is a part of the cast of Shazam! and also produced sequel to Annabelle Creations, named Annabelle Comes Home.
