Pushkar-Gayathri are a pair of Indian directors who are known for their work in the Tamil film industry. The duo are married and made their directorial debut with Oram Po (2007). The movie had Arya and Pooja Umashankar in lead and was successful at the box office. Pushkar-Gayathri’s next directorial venture was the neo-noir comedy, Va: Quarter Cutting (2010). The movie received mixed reviews. In 2017 the duo directed R. Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Shraddha Srinath in Vikram Vedha. The movie is a gangster flick, told from the perspective of the classic folktale, Vikramathithan and Vedhalam.
