A popular star in the Indian television industry, Ravi Dubey began his acting career in 2006 with a parallel lead role in the show Stree... Teri Kahaani, aired on DD National. He later played a small supporting role in the serial Doli Saja Ke and moved on to play a lead in Ranbir Rano (2008), 12/24 Karol Bagh (2009) Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar (2011). Appearing in over 40 television commercials, his inception into Bollywood began with the romantic film U R My Jaan (2011), which was an adaptation of Pretty Woman.

He tried his hand at reality shows and appeared in Kahani Comedy Circus Ki (2012), Nach Baliye (2012) with his present wife Sargun Mehta, and bagged the runners-up position. He also participated in the extension of the show Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati in 2013 and went on to host India`s Dancing Superstar (2013). Although he was already an actor to be reckoned with, in the industry, his stint as the male lead Siddharth Khurana in the Akshay Kumar production Jamai Raja, opened a new door of opportunities for him. He went on to host a plethora of reality shows like India Banega Manch (2017) and Rising Star: Season 2 (2017), and even participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi (2017) before he was cast in 3 Dev (2018).
