A veteran producer of South Indian cinema, R.V. Gurupadam has bankrolled over 25 films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi under the banner of GRP Arts in the course of a four-decade long career. Notable film credits include the Kollywood movie Irru Nilavugal (1977), the Bollywood movie Akkalmand (1983) and the Telugu movie Idhu Saritha (1984).
