One of the most acclaimed music director duos in India, Sajid-Wajid comprises of brothers Sajid Ali and Wajid Ali. Having contributed to over 59 films as music directors, the duo first scored music for Sohail Khan`s film, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998) and made their debut as lead music directors in the film Hello Brother, post which, they also worked on films like Tere Naam (2003), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Partner (2007), Wanted (2009), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Heropanti (2014) and Singh is Bling (2015). The duo`s 2017 release includes Daddy (2017), a Hindi political crime drama directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. Apart from composing for films, the music director duo have mentored young talent on reality shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and have composed for Bigg Boss 4, Bigg Boss 6 and IPL 4. Their 2018 releases include 3 Dev and Satyameva Jayate. In June 2020, Wajid Ali passed away.
