Siddharth Roy Kapur (Siddharth) is an Indian Film producer, businessman and managing director of Disney India. He was born on August 2, 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was married to his childhood friend Aarti Bajaj but the marriage ended with a divorce. He is presently married to film actress Vidya Balan. Siddharth started his career with UTV Motion pictures as a senior vice president but he achieved success through his work with Star TV. In January 2008, he became the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures. After that, he produced several films such as Jodhaa Akbar, Fashion, A Wednesday!, Dev D, Kaminey, Raajneeti, Udaan, Delhi Belly, Rowdy Rathore, Paan Singh Tomar, Barfi! etc. He has won National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards and IIFA Awards and BIG Star Entertainment Awards. His 2019 release includes The Sky Is Pink, directed by Shonali Bose. His other notable works include Yeh Ballet (2020), Chhello Show (2022), Bas Karo Aunty! (2023), Pippa (2023) and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? (2023).
