Surabhi Lakkshmi is an acclaimed Malayalam film, theatre, and television actress best known for her powerful and realistic performances. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer and theatre artist, she holds a BA and MA in performing arts from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and an MPhil from MG University. Starting her career in theatre, she later gained fame through television, especially for her role as Paathu in M80 Moosa. Her remarkable portrayal of a struggling mother in Minnaminungu (2017) earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress, making her the sixth Malayalam actress to win that honor.
