Having studied at the College of Art in Delhi, graduating with a bachelor`s degree in Fine Arts, Surbhi always had a keen interest in acting, which she took a notch higher by enrolling herself at the Imago Acting School. After training under Barry John and Manoj Bajpayee, Surbhi went on to make her acting debut with 2013 Tamil vigilante film Ivan Veramathiri, which won her immense praise and the Best Female Debutant nomination at the Vijay Awards and South Indian International Movie Awards.

Prominently a part of the Tamil and Telugu film industries, Surbhi went on to appear in movies like Velaiyilla Pattathari, Express Raja, Pugazh, Adangather, Attack, and Okka Kshanam. Her 2019 release includes Voter, a thriller starring her opposite Vishnu Manchu.
