Tamil movie actress Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan made her debut in 2007 with the movie Chennai 600028, which won the Vijay Award nomination for Best Debut Actress. Following her debut, Vijayalakshmi went on to appear in a string of Tamil movies such as Saroja, Adhe Neram Adhe Idam, Vana Yuddham, Vennila Veedu, and the sequel to her debut movie titled Chennai 600028 II. In 2017, the actress turned producer for Feroz’s directorial debut, the action thriller Pandigai, starring Anandhi and Krishna Kulasekaran in the lead.
