The drama is a Hindi adaptation of 12 Angry Men, a 1954 teleplay by the American writer Reginald Rose. The play unfolds in India in a room in which 12 individuals on jury duty must decide the conviction of a 19-year-old slum dweller being tried for the murder of his father.
