What begins as an everyday household dispute soon spirals into a delightful comedy involving a miserly merchant, his determined wife, a quick witted Pundit, a lovable Hawaldaar, an overenthusiastic British officer, a carefree brother in law, and a cast of eccentric characters who somehow make every situation worse.
